5th Annual Robert Freeland Memorial Tournament5th Annual Robert Freeland Memorial Tournament
This tournament was established in 2022 during the later stages of our father’s cancer journey. He was deeply involved in sports and his community, so we created this event to bring him joy.
Since then, we have continued to host the tournament each year in his honour, donating all proceeds to someone in the local area who is currently battling cancer.
What started as a 6-team event has grown into an 18-team tournament across 3 divisions — including a new women’s division this year.
In addition to the soccer tournament, there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy:
• Pancake breakfast
• BBQ
• Touch-a-Truck event
• Bouncy castle
• Kids zone
• Prize table
There’s truly something for everyone!

Cambridge St United Church Rummage SaleCome to Cambridge St United Church on Saturday May 2 for our Spring Rummage Sale. Lots of treasures including toys, puzzles, clothes and housewares. Find some yummy treats including fudge at our Bake Sale.
Hours are 8:00 - 12:30. Our bag sale is from 1:00 - 3:00. You can fill a bag starting at $4 depending on the size of your bag - we have a supply of bags. 08:00am - 03:00pm

Botanical Cast Demonstration featuring artist Rebecca Fortin.Rebecca Fortin will demonstrate how fresh, sustainably grown, and ethically wildcrafted plants are pressed into wet clay and cast in plaster to capture their delicate, lifelike textures. She will also share her process for finishing each piece using natural dyes, which she hand-prepares from botanicals grown in her garden or sustainably sourced in the wild.
